washr Account Access Guidelines

Hampr is committed to building professional, respectful working relationships with every Washr on the platform. To keep that relationship, and the platform, safe and reliable for everyone, Washrs are expected to meet the standards outlined below. Violating these guidelines can result in temporary suspension or permanent deactivation of a Washr's account.

Failing to Maintain a Safe Environment

Safety is Hampr's top priority. The following conduct is prohibited and may result in immediate account deactivation:

  • Violence or aggression, including assault, threats of violence, or intimidation
  • Theft of a customer's property or belongings
  • Use of profanity, harassment, or abusive language toward customers or Hampr staff
  • Unwanted contact with a customer outside of the scope of a scheduled service
  • Use of drugs or alcohol while performing Hampr services
  • Damage to a customer's property
  • Discriminatory conduct of any kind

Violation of Applicable Law or Regulation

Washrs are expected to comply with all federal, state, and local laws while providing services through Hampr. Breaking the law while performing Hampr-related work, including failing to maintain any insurance required to provide services, can result in suspension or deactivation of a Washr's account.

Issues with Background Checks

Hampr conducts background checks on Washrs to help keep the platform safe for customers and other Washrs. An account may be deactivated if a background check reveals information that does not meet Hampr's safety standards, or if a Washr is unable or unwilling to complete a required background check.

Failing to Meet Acceptable Standards of Service

Washrs are expected to consistently deliver quality service: proper cleaning and folding, and on-time delivery. Repeated, substantiated customer complaints about the quality or timeliness of service can result in account deactivation.

Confidentiality Breaches

Washrs must protect the privacy of Hampr customers. This includes not sharing a customer's personal information, address, or order details with anyone outside of Hampr, and not bringing unauthorized individuals along while performing a pickup, delivery, or service. Any breach of a customer's confidentiality may result in deactivation.

Fraud

Fraudulent activity of any kind, including creating duplicate Washr accounts, submitting false information during sign-up or background checks, or misrepresenting completed work, can result in immediate account deactivation.

Other

Hampr reserves the right, at its discretion, to suspend or deactivate a Washr's account for any other violation of the Washr Independent Contractor Agreement.
